I go to brooklyn technical high school, I have a 76/100 GPA (not sure what this translates into on the 4.0 GPA scale) I have 100 hours of community service under my belt and I am the president of a club at my school, what SUNYs can I get into, if any at all?

bump

anyone?

Hm... what are your reasons for such low grades? Did you have any personal problems that may be able to explain your low GPA? And what about SAT/ACT? If you can manage to get your scores in the top 75% of any of the SUNY's, then I think you may be able to get in. I'm not too familiar with SUNY's though so I may not be of much help.

Posting your SAT/ACT scores would be ver helpful. I'm also applying to Stony Brook as a safety, with a very low gpa. I have a 3.0. But like NeoEpisteme said, my SAT scores are above par for them, so if you rock the SAT, you should be alright.

SUNY Stony Brooks SAT Scores:

Middle 50% of first year students got:

Critical Reading: 520 - 620
Math: 560 - 660
Writing: 500 - 610
