What are my chances?? And any other school suggestions?

I know my SAT Score is low I have only taken it once and I was sick I would like to get between 1750-1850

I am a current student at GCC, and I would say that it depends upon your major… some majors are significantly more selective than others. I know someone who applied with a similar SAT but a lower GPA (3.3 unweighted from a Christian private). She was deferred on ED as a science major, then re-applied as a Psych major and was accepted.

Also, a lot depends upon how well you interview. That seems to be very important, and is considered seriously. Anyway, your extra-curriculars and GPA are pretty impressive… so I would be optimistic, unless you’re applying for Mechanical Engineering or something like that.

If you’ve only taken the SAT once, take it a couple more times and also take the ACT. If you could get your SAT to about 1150 and interviewed well, then you would have nothing to worry about.

Thank you. My intended major is Political Science. I hope to do better on the SAT I am taking a prep class. Is political science one of the harder programs to get accepted to?
