Change of Majors

Hi Everyone,

Before I start here are my stats:
GPA: 3.7
Unit Count: 120+
Major: Public Health
Status: Accepted/Not yet SIR

So originally I applied to UC Irvine as a Nursing Major but I got in as Public Health Sciences Major. I fulfill all the transfer requirements and class requirements for both Public Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences because I was taking all the same classes as a Bio major at my CC but just majored in Nursing (I just really like science). My question is how difficult is it to change my major to Pharmaceutical Sciences? Has anyone had any experience changing their majors to something else and what was that like? Will the school let me know if they won’t allow me to change my major because all they said was the change will show up on the MyAdmissions page.

I’m mostly a little nervous that they won’t let change it and then won’t let me know about it.

Also how is your unit count 120+, the max you can transfer in is 105.

I’m transferring after three years and not two (A combination of money and personal family issues). I’ve looked it up and also talked to admissions and they said that those units can be used to satisfy other requirements.
