Is it possible to change the school to which I have been accepted before I enroll? (obviously in the time between the application and decision notification I changed my intended major)

We were told during a visit that it’s easy to change once school starts. Not even sure it can happen at this point.

My friend changed from MSB to COL (correct choice, by the way) but I don’t recall the proces.

Mathecon13 why do you think your friend made the correct choice? im in MSB now and i am just wondering

^^
Maybe because MSB is viewed as the least rigorous of the 4 colleges? I never had or made an issue of it, but some students always made it a point as to how “easy” GU was for MSB students.

Because I’m in COL, and COL kids like to assert that they’re better than MSB kids. And we are.

Also he ended up being really good at econ and went to a top-15 phd program in econ so it worked out for him.

I’ll preface this by saying, I am not MSB. But is comparing between majors and schools a common thing at GU? I’m coming from a program at my HS where I have friends (really one in particular) who like to compare majors and I always hate it when they do. Some teachers even inadvertently do it. The unfounded superiority complex bothers me to the point I avoid the conversation at all costs. Are MSB students really made fun of?

It’s always in jest and good fun. At the end of the day we’re all Georgetown students, not COL/MSB/NHS/SFS students.

Oh ok I understand. I was getting a little worried there.
