If someone is accepted to the college of engineering, and then decides before they even start in the fall that they want to switch to a major in the college of arts and sciences, how hard is it to make the switch? Do you have to notify admissions? Do you contact the college of arts and sciences? Anyone have experience with this?

I don’t think it’s hard. I asked on the live chat if I could change my major (more like declare). I was in the Exploration program and I literally just emailed them to change it to prenursing haha. I don’t think it’s a big deal. They should be on the live chat right now, but they’re not always the best at being there, haha.

I don’t think switching FROM engineering would be hard anywhere. If anything, most colleges have more strict standards for engineering applicants.
