i know this has nothing to do with what you guys are talking about, but im new to this site and dont know how to start a thread yet. im about to start my first year of high school. In my eighth grade year I was taking a math class for college credit. In the first semester I had an a, but in the second semester I messed up and got a C. My goal is to get to an Ivy league school. My parents started to look for ways to fix this. For some reason the universe always smiles on me and I caught a break. If I went to a diiferent high school then my grade would just show up as a p for passing. I was happy but I honestly do not want to go here. At my previous school I was very well liked, and all of those kids move to the same high school with a few that transfer. I understand that most of you will be like duh go to the school that gave you a brake, but alot of high school is being happy and I really want to go through high school with these kids. I grew up with them and I honestly consider some of them brothers. I dont want to miss out on that with them but I also want to go to an Ivy league school. I try to talk to my parents but my dad just calls me a loser and my mom cares to much about my sister to listen. Please no one make any smug comments, I am sicerely looking for advice. Please someone answer, Michaelseen
