<p>Does anyone know how things work when you change your housing choices and are put on the wait list for the new dorm? What happens if you don't get off the wait list, do they keep you in your original choice of dorm, or is there a chance you could be assigned to an entirely different dorm?</p>
<p>If you don’t get off the waitlist, you will stay in your current dorm. If they have an availability at another dorm, and it’s not listed as your choice, nothing happens.</p>
<p>i’m in the honors quad, what would happen if i put myself on the waitlist for reassignment to a different honors dorm? i’m betting that they’d see that i’m already in honors and not waste their time (since you can only choose “honors” and not the specific dorm)</p>
