I'm applying as an education major because I believe I'm a better candidate for this.
I'm have a teacher intern position with an elementary school, half of my community service is tutoring kids, I've been babysitting for years, I've had two "real" (meaning I actually get a proper paycheck) jobs at preschools, and I advanced to state in a TAFE competition (competition based off teaching skills). Also the average ACT score for college of education is 26 and my score is 29. I'm top 11% of my class,~95/100 gpa.

But I've been thinking and i'm fairly sure I want to major in liberal arts (psychology BA) instead. I've already written my goals essay about teaching and I don't think I'll look as strong to the liberal arts college so I'm just keeping it like this.
Liberal art is listed as my second choice major and I'm applying to lib arts honors and plan ii.
What's generally the chance honor programs will accept you into their program as a second choice college?
I mean, doesn't college of ed not have it's own honor program? So where do they normally get accepted?.... I'm super confused with how this works.
Can you be accepted to both your first choice major's college and your second or is it either/or? Can i be accepted as an ed major and also to one of the honor programs?
