Anyone know about this? also if I arrive at around 11-12, where do I meet everyone?

you can’t do it there…
there’s a huge bureaucracy you’ll have to bypass to get it done.
however, for your elective classes, you’ll be able to choose any class from any department that isn’t ‘restricted’. if the class you want is restricted, you have the option of petitioning to enter it <— no guarantee by any means…
also, there were certain classes that i wanted to get into (from poli/sci and history, for me) that were only open to students outside of the major during the second enrollment period. you’ll find out all about it tomorrow.

I haven’t been to orientation, but weeks ago i was on campus and I spoke to the department i was interested in changing majors to, they said when its time for the whole department thing, to ask my current one or whoever(i dont know how it works) to group me with the major i plan to change to or to sit in on the advisement for my prospective changed major.

she had given me paper work to fill out so that i can just bring to orientation to show proof that i have fulfilled the pre-reqs for my major. basically its a paper petitioning to get credit for classes i’ve taken at X school, with X class, and attaching the syllabi/syllabus(sorry dont care nor do i want to check which one is the correct use for the word), and i think if its on assist even better so that they can just see that x school at x class does fulfill the lower division requirements.

sorry i’m half asleep i don’t know if it i make any sense.

mr pinkerfloyd, how does it work out with the whole department/major advising. are all the philo majors grouped with philo majors from the very beginning int he morning or is it like later on during the day after your morning group/early day group thing? sorry for my stupidity.

What school are you even referring to??
