Right now I'm in health sciences. If I change it to Biochemistry in junior year is it ok? I'm taking the Biochemistry courses right now. Will it really matter?

Depending upon the courses you haven’t taken, you may be behind. Have you checked to see your progress or met with an advisor?

Have you taken bio labs, molecular bio, physiology, genetics, and cell biology at least? Depending on how much you’ve done of bio courses like that, you can graduate on-time without killing yourself in your last year. And don’t forget about p-chem as well.

Next year is my junior year, and no, I’m right on track with classes that I should be taking if I’m in biochem. The only difference between me and a biochemistry major student is just on my transcript it says I’m in health sciences.

If you are on track, there is nothing wrong with switching to Biochemistry in Junior year. Go for it. It’s a great program.

Yeah you’re solid. Go for it.
