I was admitted ED I to CCAS and I was wondering, would it make admissions people mad if I were to ask them to change my major already? How would I go about doing that?

what do you want to change it to? im sure you could change your major within the college easily especially once you get there but if you want to apply to another school youll probably have to resubmit everything and apply directly to the school.

you don't actually declare your major until sophomore year... what you write on your application is actually your intended major. However if you do want to change schools you should probably schedule your courses according to the GCRs (general curriculum requirements) of the school to which you want to transfer and then do so either second semester or sophomore year. Transfering isnt that big a deal.

no, I don't want to transfer. I got into CCAS and the major I want to switch to is also in CCAS. So should I just call?

I wouldn't worry about it since it's in CCAS. Just like it was mentioned above, you don't officially declare you major until sophomore year. When you're registering for classes, just focus on completing your GCRs so it will leave room for any other future major switches. If you have any other questions, let me know.
