<p>Hi! I applied early decision 1 and was accepted to arts and sciences. However, I said I wanted to major in sociology, but I would like a different major at this point in time. The major I would like to switch to is still in arts and sciences. Would it be a problem to switch from what I had originally said?</p>
<p>That’s not a problem. You were accepted into CCAS, not into a specific major. You are not beholden to a specific major until you complete the paperwork to declare, which you don’t have to do until sophomore year, I believe.</p>
