I'm a current senior and have already been accepted to my ED college.

Unfortunately, though, I'm just not really happy at my current (private) high school. I've been kind of miserable here for the past three and a half years, but I stuck it out because I know that I've been given a lot of opportunities and a much better education than I would have had at my local public school. Even though I got into my top-choice college, my academic/social situation has just been getting progressively more stressful and I'm not particularly keen on the idea of sticking around if I have another viable option.

My local public school offers a dual-enrollment program for seniors where they're allowed to take all of their classes at a nearby university rather than at the high school. I have a few friends that are in this program, and they all absolutely love it. I feel like I would be much happier if I were able to somehow transfer back to public school so I could enroll in this program, but I'm not sure how realistic of a choice this is.

First of all, we're already part-way through the second semester. The college courses are offered at a very small/low-key university, so it doesn't seem like it would be a huge deal to switch in after the class has started--- does anybody know how difficult this might be?

Also, I know that ED acceptances are contingent on completing your current coursework. If I were to take college classes that are very similar in difficulty/subject as the ones I'm taking now, would that be an issue?

Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it!
