Changing Teacher

So I'm a high school freshman. In one of my classes, I have a really bad teacher. She doesn't teach any of the material, gives very hard tests, and most of the kids are forced to self study the material in order to barely pass the class. I've tried everything (asked for help, extra study time, asked my parents) I wanna switch the teacher. Will this effect anything in the future (ex. college admissions)? And if I can't switch, how do I deal with this class. I really want a A. Thanks

Welcome to high school.

But in all seriousness, you’re going to have to deal with teachers like this for the rest of high school. Self-study. If a lot of students are really concerned about that teacher, try going to the office (although this usually only works for classes where the teacher is actually doing something unfair, like giving the majority of the class a zero on a major assignment for no reason).

This won’t affect college admissions at all, but it’s going to be hard to switch classes.

Just deal with it. You’re going to have more bad teachers. Just wait until college…haha.

I feel your pain. It’s terrible. But above posters are right. Maybe look into getting a tutor? What class is it?
