Charles Allis Art Museum, Villa Terrace and the Domes

Also, while searching for entertainment in Milwaukee, I came upon a couple of art museums. One is the Villa Terrace, and the other was Charles Allis. Charles Allis actually shows old movies.

Are either of these venues near campus, or able to be gotten to by public transportation or the LIMO?

Also, what are the Domes and where are they in relation to campus?

Do any student organizations sponsor trips to the city to enjoy the many cultural venues that seem to be a part of your wonderful city?

The domes are relatively close to Campus, but it’s a little too far too walk. You get a great view of them from the top floors of McCormick. In my day, they guys referred to the Domes as “The Three T*ts.” They even have areolas! ;-)

Keep in mind that all Marquette students have free city bus transportation. It is safe, reliable and convenient, and you can get to almost any place in the city. Many of the main bus lines go straight through campus. I used to even go to suburban malls to shop.
