<p>In researching recreation in Milwaukee, found this entertainment venue. Although probably too pricey for students, an occasional show may be worth saving up for.</p>
<p>Are these venues is close proximity to the campus?</p>
<p>If so, does the LIMO service provide transportation?</p>
<p>I've read that the LIMO does go to The Rave/Eagles Ballroom, but didn't know how close these venues are.</p>
<p>Is there any place where students under 21 can go to listen to live music for a low cover charge that is walking distance from campus?</p>
<p>The Rave is the best, by far. Lots of shows are under $20, always a good time. Limo travels to it, but I personally haven’t felt endangered walking to campus on Wisconsin @ 11:30. Going west… not so safe.</p>
<p>And they have some big names that come through, especially on their way to/from Chicago. This year, I’ve seen Chevelle and the Arctic Monkeys.</p>
<p>Plus if your roommate happens to work at the radio station, like mine does, you go to see most shows for free. Or if you listen to the radio station, you can win free tickets.</p>
