<p>Are you all planning on using the CHARMS thing? or are you going to let them pick a roommate for you?</p>
<p>I think I plan on using the CHARMS thing. I just think I'd already have a head start if i knew somewhat what the person was like. Granted I could pick the wrong person, I just think I'll be a little more comfortable during those first tough weeks of school knowing what kind of person my roomate is.</p>
<p>yeah, that's what I thought. And also, I guess most people will use CHARMS and it'll be kinda crazy inviting/getting invited to be your rommate.
To me, that sounds like the GU is saying: "we'll pair up put all the losers who couldnt make any friends through CHARMS" hahahaha
Still, I dont wanna be one of those people. :P</p>
<p>Yeah, same here. I feel like if I don't use it I'll end up with someone really messy or someone who loves loud music or gets up at 5 everyday or something.</p>
<p>That's not really true, most people I know that did not use CHARMS got really good roomates, and sometimes CHARMS can make you feel over cofident and when something small and quirky comes up you might get really blown away since you thought you ahd your roomate all figured out. A couple of my friends din;t use CHARMS, and they are like BFF now, and are rooming again next year. I didn't use CHARMS and I got AWESOME roomate. hehehhe</p>
<p>I want to use CHARMS but I'm going to be out of the country(no idea if I will have internet access) from June 12-July 2, and Charms goes from June 21-July 18, so I'm scared that by the time I get back everyone will have already matched up and there won't be anyone decent left.</p>
<p>yea im doin the same thing. ill be out of country june -august. hopefully ill be able to find some internet access for a few days. i think that a lot of roommates will be gone before july. maybe ill just let them pair me up, because, ill still fill out that housing questionairre.</p>

<p>I have a couple friends at Gtown and they both got their roomates through CHARMS. They are both really happy w/their roomates, and their roomates are pretty cool, so from that experience, I think I'll give CHARMS a shot.</p>
<p>Does SIH get to use CHARMS too? Maybe I'll use more acronyms. I wonder if GERMS would be fun to join, perhaps GUSA. I think GUCD have more members than GUCR, but I'll just check it out at the SAC fair.</p>
<p>I think GU definitely loves it acronyms. I know I'm definitely gonna choice GUGS ASAP...</p>
<p>So how has CHARMS been working out for everyone? I was getting really frustrated with it, but I finally got a roommate, and she seems awesome.</p>
<p>I got me a roommate and I am very pleased. She seems pretty cool and we have a lot in common.</p>
