very cute

LOL, r u serious?!?!?

seen it before, but still funny.

Hehehe, so cheeky! I love it.

lol, this is real??

yep- thats real... it was the application from `80-92.

those hippies up north made that

Watch it there PharmD, if they can't tell this is a joke, they're going to believe you.

ahh i can smell the nerdery behind that

hehe, how can you think that was a real application............ slaves????????????? Stanford likes to make fun of USC more than you know, just travel up to a game when we play in Palo Alto, they dedicate the halftime to making fun of USC usually.

Seems more like something that you'd find on a UCLA site.

Yeah...especially cause Stanford is a private school that costs just as much as USC to attend......I know it doesnt carry the same reputation...but that reputation was one formed by our parents generation before USC was a decent school...

just more bs from leland j. JUNIOR university.

I think we should start a serious rivalry with Stanford. I can't stand those pukes. As we creep up on the Ivy Leagues I belive it would benefit us to set our crosshairs on Stanford. I mean, c'mon, UCLA is a joke anyway, it's not even fair anymore beating up on them... :)

I don't know, I kinda like Stanford. They're an elite private school, they wear Cardinal, dislike a nearby UC, and are generally better in every way than that UC.

I'd say we have a lot in common.

Talk to someone from Stanford, I doubt you'll find you share the same sentiment.

there is a huge rivalry with Stanford. Just listen to what John McKay, USC's greatest football coach of all time thought of Stanford.

When told by two of his top recruits--his son, John (J.K.), a wide receiver, and quarterback Pat Haden (JK's best friend)--that they were thinking of going to Stanford, he answered: "If it was between Stanford and Red China, I would pay your way to Peking."

On rival Stanford: "I'd like to beat Stanford by 2,000 points. They're the worst winners I've ever gone up against."

Coach Mckay-the man knew his stuff.

Stanford is more elitist than elite. While SC gets the knock all the time, Stanford is the ultimate rich kid school. The only diversity there is when someone puts cream in their coffee, presuming those geeks know how to feed themselves without someone cutting their meat for them.

Calling themselves the cardinal is a disgrace. At least they have the sense to know that they are NOT the CARDINAL AND GOLD.

Isn't USC's tuition more than Stanford's?

Who cares about rankings and prestige? It's about where you end up, and I don't think USC has a problem producing successful alumni. There is nothing that Stanford offers that USC doesn't (I actually think USC offers more). We are simply separated by a funny little number.
