<p>Try to get Obama to write you a letter of recommendation. That can be your ace-in-the-hole.</p>

<p>Also, lucky for you, UCLA doesn’t consider race.</p>

<p>And yes, you’ll get financial aid, but they’ll take your parents income into consideration.</p>

<p>Pinkerfloyd- Before this past year, there was not a swim team for the public schools. This past year was the start up season. </p>

<p>You will definitely have FinAid. My Dad made ~$90,000 a year while I was in college and I had finaid all four years. Of course, I also had a sister in college at the same time which helped some. In any case, don’t get too excited – most of it was students loans…</p>
