<p>AHHHHHH duke came through with good financial aid!!! FINALLY accepted to a college that i might be able to afford…geez</p>

<p>Then I looked at my financial aid offer from Vanderbilt and…</p>

<p>It’s ****ing **$55,000 in GRANTS<a href=“per%20year%20provided%20my%20family’s%20financial%20situation%20doesn’t%20change”>/b</a></p>

<p>Duke was probably my #1 choice or close to it, but I would have to be a complete dbag to be upset when another great school is offering me that much money.</p>

<p>Wow, that was… unimpressive. 5500 in loans, 2000 in the work study. Only place that’s given me halfway decent financial aid has been Chicago- 10k university scholarship… Darn it Duke, I really was hoping for some decent aid!!!</p>

<p>You seriously made my life by posting how to check our financial aid. I got 40,000 in grants! SO not expecting that, but now I am 90% sure I’ll be attending Duke, as it’s cheaper than my in state school :D</p>
