I was deferred. 3.1GPA, 29 ACT. They want my mid year transcript and a new ACT/SAT score. I'm hoping to get in because I'm getting almost all A's this year.

It says it is blocked for the release of admissions decisions until tonight for me

For those wondering, check here:

I was accepted with the full out of state tuition waiver and the University Freshman Scholarship ($2400 per year).
GPA: 3.7 UW, 4.0 W
ACT: 31 (34E, 28M, 35R, 28S)
Essay was okay
ECs: Debate (team captain), NHS (president), Beta Club, MUN…

Deferred. 3.3 gpa and 2090 sat, 30 act. Everyone told me I’d get in, so thats annoying

ACCEPTED OOS NY 3.7UW 27 ACT were do you find out about scholarships?

If you got anything, they should be a little further down on the page under the section “Admission Scholarship”

@kellyr0ma same here. I was told if get in too. What are your senior year grades like?

ACCEPTED! 3.7 ACT 27
However, it says to the summer session and I didn’t apply to that. Does that mean I didn’t get into fall?

@5melissa1234 seems like it.

Hello, my daughter got in as well. When do you find out about honors???

When you guys say u got deffered with a 3.1-3.3 are u talking about ur fsu gpa or your unweighted gpa

ive missed a ton of school so they arent great so hope is pretty much gone for me… i feel awful

@chrisF

@FloridaBoy954 that’s my school weighted GPA (my school does not use an unweighted GPA). My FSU GPA is probably much lower because of freshman and sophomore year. My grades were all Bs last year and all As and 1 B in my core subjects this year.

Accepted Fall
3.8uw 4.3w
27act
AP
IB

@reallycoolshoes So if I can’t log in on the link you provided, and the “check online status” is still blocked (message says won’t be available until late this afternoon), does that mean not admitted?

If you can’t log in, then you probably are just messing up somewhere. If you weren’t admitted, you would still be able to log in and see that.

Accepted Fall with Full OOS Tuition Waiver from PA!!

3.6UW/4.0 FSUWeight
2120 SATs
AP/Honors

Incredibly thrilled!!!

Congrats to all of you that are accepted!

@ChrisF I’d bet the farm it’s your GPA. If that’s the GPA reported to FSU (or re-calculated by FSU), that’s over half a point below the middle 50%. Bring it up with midyear grades and you’ll improve your chances. Your ACT score is fine.

@kellyr0ma I’m sure it’s the same thing as with ChrisF. Your GPA is pretty low for FSU. Keep up strong grades this year, and send in your transcripts after this semester’s grades are finalized. You should be good after that.

Both @ChrisF and @kellyr0ma if you send in mid-year grades and they’re very good (and in challenging courses), FSU will probably accept you by the March decision date. Your GPA is low but if everything else is strong they’re likely deferring you just to make sure you’re keeping up with improving your grades & GPA. It happens to thousands of people every year.

@hanaliy you should be able to login no matter what the decision was. I’d venture that the post above is correct that you’re probably doing something wrong. Have you tried resetting your password for the status check? If many others are finding out their decisions, the system is up and running.

It’s possible that a lot of people are trying to find out and it’s crashed, but I doubt that since it’s during the school day for most applicants.

@Pasbal thanks for the help. My grades are pretty good so far with 2 APs, 2 honors,. I’m doing poorly in 1 honors class (spanish, language has always been my weakest class). High As in math and US government (honors and AP, respectively). Really hoping to be admitted. Congrats to everyone who got in today.
