<p>Does a UC actually check to confirm that you actually did your extracurricular activities? For example if you were really in a club that you mentioned. Also if you talk about community service hours in high school, how would they check that as well?</p>
<p>They do sometimes ask for verification. It may be random or it may be based off the specific info. The burden is in you to verify, not on them to check. Meaning if you said you volunteered X hours for Y organization, and they want verification, you have to figure out how/ who can verify that for you. If you have something you can’t verify, IMO it’s best to leave it off.</p>
<p>When they do ask for proof, You’ll get an email with that request. You will usually have about three weeks or so to provide that proof. They will let you know what types of info would be acceptable, and it’s up to you to go out and get it and give it back to them.</p>
