Checklist for May 1

Hello dear CC fellows, as May 1 is approaching, I want to make sure I have everything ready in order to attend UCLA.
What are the things I need to do?

Ive done the SIR and SLR, but I am not sure how to submit my Housing application...
I have accomplised all things except uploading a picture of myself (which I certainly dislike), but how do you submit it.
Furthermore, is there anything I should do? or pay?

Thanks for the help

How have you done a SIR?

Ursa won’t allow me to do it yet because they haven’t released admissions decisions.

@DavetheAmazing: I think admissions decisions came out last month. Check https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Decision/Login.aspx</a> to see if you’re in.

@daehyun: I think you can go to the checklist website, then click around to find the application… This looks like it’s the right one though? There’s a link on the right side that says “Apply online now” [How to Apply (1001012)](http://map.ais.ucla.edu/go/1001012)

Some of the things I’ve done so far are…
SIR, SLR
Confidential Financial Statement (If you’re International)
Housing application
and sending official transcripts from high school/college by July 15th

What do you mean by how to submit the housing application? You just follow the steps- uploading your picture, choosing your preference for roommate style/dorm etc. etc. and once you’re done, there’s this button that you click on it to SUBMIT.

Maybe DavetheAmazing is a transfer student? But yeah, the freshman decisions have been out for a while.

oh and one more thing! I don’t think you have to do this by May 1st but you need to fill out the education planner. It’s on myucla and you should fill it out in order to get some advice on class schedule from an advisor during the orientation. I don’t think it’s something significant but still…ucla told us to fill it out so you should still do it.

For the educational planner, they won’t let you sign up for Orientation unless you’ve done it so do it before the sign up date if you want to get an early session. You can mostly bs the answers because you meet with counselors in person anyways, but if you have the time it’s a good idea to put some thought into it because that’s how they place you into groups for orientation and set up department meetings and such.

wait where is the educational planner? i cant find it on myucla

The link is towards the top right corner of the homepage on MyUCLA, and says “Survey.”
