<p>Definitely write it down. I cheer too, it takes up a ton of time so I'm writing it down as an EC. I mean that is one of main activities/sports. I'm also captain so that helps as a leadership position. If you cheer, its on your transcript anyway so colleges will see that. Good Luck, go cheerleaders lol.</p>

<p>Of course you should put it on your apps. No one's going to reject you just because they don't think you'll fit in very well, but of course you should make sure you're not applying to the kind of school that places no value on athletics. It wouldn't be the place for you.</p>
<p>If you compete or you do both high school and All Stars, be sure to specify, because that is a gargantuan time commitment.</p>

<p>Why not? Don't colleges need cheerleading squads along with their orchestras? And their rugby players. And other activities. Colleges need everything.</p>
