Based on your experience or word of mouth, should I take chem 3a with frechet or pedersen. A few people in various posts seem to swear by frechet but I have heard that pedersen is a great professor as well. Frechet seems to have easier curves or something?

I found Frechet to be very easy. He really is no-book-necessary professor. Just show up to class, take notes, and that's about it.

uhh if i had to compare frechet and pederson I would choose frechet only because pederson has this monotonous voice that makes me fall asleep:] Other than that, I think both are pretty good professors and people definitely have different preferences.
Also, you have to study hard for chem3a no matter who your professor is anyway. go to classes, take notes, and DO YOUR HW PROBLEMS.
and I believe their curves are pretty much similar..

Frechet hands down

Haha is it just me or do most cc posters take Frechet? Anyway, thanks for your comments. Seems to me they are both great professors with similar grading so I'm guessing its just a coin toss.
