Chem "Diagnostic" Exam

Did anyone take the "diagnostic" exam for chem yet? If so, I'm just wondering if they let you see how many you got right or wrong...

wait, you have to take a diagnostic exam for chem? uh oh. I never got information about that

i took it but i didn't see a place where it said whether or not you placed out like it did the math exam, but i got a 5 on the AP so i wasn't pressed to find out either.

thanks amu =D
and Haha your atomic mass units? LOL **** I feel like making myself Moseley or something =P

The chem diagnostic is NOT for placing out. (I mean, you can take it twice, if I recall) It is required, though. If I recall the chem placement test is a written test taken during orientation.

Yeah, if it's like last year, the diagnostic exam is mostly there to make sure that you know some of the basic chemistry stuff that you will need to know before taking Chem 111/112. If you don't do well enough, they will suggest extra preparatory sessions and things like that for you to go to.
