<p>Could someone please comment on the success rate of students in U Del Chem E in obtaining internships. Is this usually done by the student independently, or through the school? I've heard that some colleges have increased the number of students faster than companies have increased the availability of internships, making this a difficult process. </p>

<p>It is up to the student to locate an internship,however they are listed on the Career services website. Some work in the labs over the summer months, however most returned home to work, not necessarily anything engineering related. Not easy to get them at all, not just Delaware.</p>
