at the orientation, even though i’m not going to take chemistry in the fall quarter (or perhaps at all), can i still take the chemistry placement exam just in case if i ever want to take chemistry class in the future?

calculators are permitted/required. do i bring graphing or scientific?

You can take the test just in case, as for if it still applies long after you've taken the test...I'm not sure. To be honest, the test isn't very challenging. I took general chemistry quite a while ago and I still passed. As for the calculator, bring whatever you are comfortable with. I brought a graphing but it wasn't that necessary. Hope that helps :)

you can take the chem placement even if you are not planning to take CHEM in the fall. The scores applies throughout. The test primarily prove to the faculty that you are capable & proficient in the areas. They serve as a placement guide & shuffle students to remedial courses, if they require it.

CHEM 2AH is Honors Chemistry reserved for those that score very high

Is there a similar site to this one, but for the Chemistry placement exam? I am asking because on the math placement exam it has "preparation tips" and it states what the math exam is going to be on (like the topics it's going to cover). So I was wondering if there was a similar one for the chem. test (like the topics it's going to cover). Thanks!

On the same topic, what if I got a 5 on the AP test, then I dont have to take the placement test right? in that case, do i just not show up to the test or what, where would i show them that i got a 5? also what chem class would i qualify for then? lol a lot of questions.
