chem udergraduate department rankings

hey, im a junior in high school currently, and i want to become a chemist of some sort. Im not quite sure whether i want to do chemE or just chemistry, maybe with a biochem concentration. Here are the schools im applying to

university of michigan
wisconsin madison
john hopkins
cornell
rensselaer polytech
university of illinois at urbana champaign
carnegie mellon

Could you tell me which of these schools would probably have the strongest undergrad chemistry program. Also, could you tell me any other schools that i should consider. I live in michigan, and im trying to stay in the general area. Im interrested in combined programs. For instance, u of M has a five year program where you double major in chem and chem E. Any suggestion

berkeley has a chem college.. its damn good

i think berkeley is a little to much of a reach for me. It doesn't help that i live in Michigan

I have the same question - what are top 20/25 overall? best LAC's?
Good info about Michigan's joint program, I'm checking it out.

Thanks all
