"Chemical Engineer Major" needs help deciding on schools

My son got accepted to 7 great schools (but not MIT, his first choice) and is having trouble deciding between them.

U Pitt
Case Western
UVA
Drexel
Tuane
U Del
RPI

Pros and cons of each are SO welcome!

Thanks in advance.

It would be better if he has the list and his feelings about each school. After all he must have some idea of where he would like to go.

If he’s sure about ChemE, U Del is top 10 because of the investments made by Dupont. ChemE is way above the rest of the school.

Pittsburgh’s curriculum is weird and I think would be hard to transfer credit if for some reason he doesn’t like it.

RPI and Case are quite rigorous.

Drexel UVa and Tulane are probably less sought after.

My son graduated Case in Engineering last year, and is now in a PhD program in Nuclear Engineering and will most likely have a co-op at NASA this summer. Case gave my son a generous merit stipend as a Freshman ,and increased it by 5K in his Junior year. I can’t say enough good things about this school. The weather isn’t so great in the winter, but they have many tunnels to get to different buildings. Case helped him get a co-op at GE during his Junior year. Move in was a breeze and so was graduation. They plan everything so well here.
