Stuck Between Schools For Chemical Engineering, PLEASE HELP :)

Okay so I'm stuck now between Penn State, Drexel, WPI and maybe Stony Brook. I'm not sure how they all rank with chemical engineering but here's what I can tell you:

I'm interested in living in Pennsylvania

My parents are willing to pay probably $15,000, maybe $20,000 for whatever college I do to

I'm not looking to be a part of Greek life or a party life

At all of these schools I got the $5,500 government loan thing

I got waitlisted to Lafayette and I think I would go there but I don't want to have to wait and not get in

Penn State
- Nervous about being in the middle of nowhere at a school so big (parties could be a problem)
- Didn't get any financial aid as of yet, probably won't get that much anyway

Drexel
- Nervous that it's a party school or not a good school at all for engineering
- Nervous that it costs so bloody much
- Got $11,500 in scholarship type stuff from them
- I think it's cool it's in Philadelphia though

WPI
- It's in Worcester, I have family there, so I've been there a lot
- Nervous the Greek life is crazy there
- Got $9000/year for 4 years

Stony Brook
- Nervous it's not a good engineering school
- I don't know how crazy I am about state schools even though the tuition is nice

Please tell us of your residency and the costs-to-you, including loans, of each school.

I live in New York and for all these schools I would of course live on campus.

Umm I’ll try my best with costs assuming scholarships and how much my parents are willing to pay:

Drexel: ~$42,000
Penn State: ~$32,500
WPI: ~$35,500
Stony Brook: ~$8000 (I haven’t received financial aid stuff yet)
