Chemical Engineering Dual Degree with Math or Physics?

Which dual degree is a better pair with Chemical Engineering?

Why do you feel you need a dual degree?

Dual degrees are honestly not a worthy investment of time, effort, and money. Dual degrees differ from double majors, since you are not only trying to fulfill the requirements for two majors, but also the distribution/core/common/whatever requirements for two different units (e.g., engineering and liberal arts). The minimum required credits to make this work out will almost certainly require you to take extra semesters. To complete the dual degree in minimal time, you will also have to force yourself to max out your course load almost every semester, which can have a significant impact on your grades and/or mental health.

At the end of the day, you will most likely only be making a career out of only one of your degrees. The extra time, effort, and money it costs you to obtain a second undergrad degree yields little, if any, extra return. You will be better off using that time to get a job or complete a graduate degree.
