I cannot speak to Pitt’s ChemE program but my uncle attended Notre Dame and got his ChemE there. He got a lot of his college paid for by the Navy and became a nuke officer aboard subs.

This is the exact same path my boyfriend has taken at Pitt. Got a ChemE Degree paid for by the Navy NUPOC program and is starting his sub officer training now (literally today, actually). Small world!
