Chemistry 101DL vs. Honors Chem?

Does anyone know what the difference is between Chemistry 101DL and Honors Chemistry? Their descriptions are the same, in which they are an introductory class.

I did well in Chemistry when I took it, but that could mean anything because my teacher was a confusing lecturer and an easy grader. I’m not the best at math, but do well when the work is rooted in a topic, like Statistics.

If I take regular Chem instead of Honors Chem, does this make me a lazy student? I can sometimes bite off more than I can chew.

This might not be clear, but I took Chemistry in high school.

From Duke Advising counselors:

“Chem 110DL (Honors) is appropriate for students who have had more than one year of high school chemistry, have a reported chemistry AP score of at least 4, and an ACT score of 25 (equivalent to SAT of 630). Unless you meet all those criteria, Chem 101DL would be the correct class for you to take.”
