Chemistry and Math Best books in my situation

Well I took already took Chemistry, Math IC and Math IIC but Im taking it again b/c my schools allow it in January so I plan to go hard in christmas vacations.

Chemistry: (Nov. score: 520 :S) Target Score (700-750+)
This really gave me a hard time b/c I don't go to school in the states and most of the material was new to me. I studied from Sparknotes, but this seems to be more for review purposes. I NEED A BOOK THAT COVERS EXACTLY WHAT IT COVERS AND TO TEACH IT TO ME AS NEW MATERIAL NOT REVIEW.

Math I: (Nov. Score: 610, I was not feeling too good that day) Target Score: (a solid 800)
Here I new the material I just need good practice of the hardest problems. So something like Gruber's Perfect Score when they focus and giving you practice for the hardest problems.

Math II: (Nov. Score: 600, I was not feeling too good that day) Target Score: (a solid 800)
Here I new the material I just need good practice of the hardest problems. So something like Gruber's Perfect Score when they focus and giving you practice for the hardest problems.

**NOTE: They will take either Math I and Math II but since the score difference was only 10 points I thought I'd do them again or should I focus on Math I and forget about Math II?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Sincerely,

Well I think you should take Math lvl 2. The scoring curve is much friendlier and you can afford to make a couple of mistakes and still score an 800. However 1 silly mistake in math lvl 1 will cost you the 800.

Coming to chemistry… i think you should stick with Barrons. The book has a few mistakes though and you might get a bit confused so watch out!

Thanks tennistar. I take both and send both, I figure I’ll do good in both. But still I need more people to help me with the books!
