Chemistry CLEP - anyone take it recently?

Hi all, I’m getting ready to take my Chem Clep this Thursday (gulp). I THINK I have a ok comprehension os concepts, but do get a little anxious with the math involved. I’m worried I won’t remember formulas. But I AM a good multiple choice test taker. Has anyone taken the Chem Clep recently, and if so, how much actual calculation was on the test? They only provide the table and the calculator, right? And does the table include multiple details like polarity and orbitals?
Thanks - nervous - I just need to pass (50). This is a co-requisite for my school…
Please post if you know ANYTHING about the actual test!!! Much appreciated!!!

CLEP - chem - please give feedback!!
I keep on postponing the test, cause I feel I’m not ready…Has anyone taken it? I’m using Sterling Prep, REA, Petersons test to gauge my readiness and scoring the minimum. So I feel my cushion for error is not enough.
Please, if anyone has taken it recently, can you let me know how similar the questions are to the above sample tests?
And what kind of periodic table do they provide - how much detail is on it - electronegativity, orbitals, etc?
Would love some feedback.

Have you actually tried the CLEP Chemistry practice test? This is usually recommended for anyone trying to gauge how prepared they are for any of the subjects, plus it should give you an idea of what is supplied during the actual test. The CLEP website is usually pretty good about describing exactly what is provided in their exam guides.

Took the Chem Clep and passed - but the test software sucks! It’s like taking a test on a vintage IBM computer - pixelated type, hard to read, bad question layout. To access the periodic table and calculator you have to click to another screen, which takes time. My questions had NO relation to the percentage breakout they post on the guide.
The test was NOTHING like the $10 pretest. Know ALL your chem, and watch your time.

Can you please share what study materials you used or what you recommend. This is the last class I need to graduate but the way my work schedule is set up I can’t take the class it itself. Please help

sorry- just checked my mail here - i used about 5 study guides from the library, watched a few Khan lectures. I thought if I understood the basics it would be better for recall and guessing on multiple choice. I used the College board study guide, but it was not that good. Do you have science background?
