<p>My roommate used my 5th edition last year when they called for the 6th or 7th. He didn't have any problems really. The material is the same and I don't think the questions changed that much. I would hold off to buy books anyways, lots of times you can get away with sharing (especially Chem... so many people take 102 their first semester), or finding an old book through someone you meet. Hell, last year I didn't even buy the books for my discrete math class and one of my gen eds... I wouldn't reccommend that, though.</p>
