Good news: I wrote an amazing, unique essay that really shows personality. The uchicago admission officers will be able to tell that I had a lot of fun writing it.

Bad news: It was only 3 paragraphs, not a whole page like the instructions said.

Will this impact my admission decision significantly? I realized the required length right after I submitted. My essay was only around 1/3 or 1/2 of the page, but it proves it's point. In fact if it were any longer the essay would probably lose its depth.

How much of an impact will this have on my admission decision if any at all?

Don’t worry. My extended essay was short as well, but I got accepted EA. Being concise and to the point is more important than adding meaningless details to make your essay appear longer. I’m sure the person who reads your essay will appreciate less reading as well. If your essay really shows personality like you said, I’m sure it’ll be a hit. There’s something magical about the shorter essays, anyways.

If it’s good, don’t worry about it. Really.

Actually, I’m impressed that you’re so confident in a short essay. I’d be much more worried about writing too much than too little, because longer essays are easier to write and thus give you an unfair advantage in terms of extra detail and development. (This is my conscience speaking. Every one my essays went over the suggested word limit, and I really appreciated UC’s telling me to write at least a page. I wish I had your abilities.)
