Child finalist for Caroline D Bradley Scholarship

My child is a finalist for the Caroline D Bradley Scholarship. Had anyone been through this process?

Congrats, we applied but did not make it a few years ago. The app was read however by many schools and we received invites to apply.

Anyone who has been selected as a CBD finalist has obviously made a very positive impression on the scholarship committee. Congratulations!

The interview is friendly, though parents and applicant should dress up a bit- a suit is not necessary, but a young man should wear a shirt and tie with dress pants. A young woman can wear dress pants and blouse, a dress, or skirt and nice top. I’d suggest that she avoid spaghetti straps or strapless, even if it is hot as heck in the middle of the summer when the interviews are conducted.

The interview begins with both parents and child in the room, then the parents are asked to leave for a bit. The whole process takes less than an hour. The interviewers are very warm and do what they can to put everyone at ease.

good luck-
