Chinese 1AX for mandarin speakers

<p>I haven't taken 1AX - BX themselves and haven't had that teacher, but I've taken 1BY and 10AX-BX, and I know people that have taken 1AX. I think the general consensus is that it's more work than you expect for a 3 unit class. It's by no means difficult, but you do have to work to keep on top of stuff. You will usually have 2-3 assignments to do per week. I know people who get turned off by the amount of work and change to P/NP, but honestly, an A- or A is very much attainable with hard work.</p>
