Chinese with listening

does anyone know how fast the listening goes
ive lived in taiwan for 1 year and it has been like more than 3 yrs since ive listened to native chinese speaking
so im not a native speaker
do u think it will be hard for me?

The listening questions are slow and something like:

"How are you?"
a. I love shopping.
b. I'm good.
c. It's rainy today.
d. I am wearing a red shirt.

So yes, listening should be really easy if you've already had 3 years of experience. :)

no no no no
ive had 1 yr of living in Taiwan
and haven been speaking serious chinese in 3 yrs

I lived four years in mainland China. I am taking the Mandarin SAT subject test on Nov. 1st. I asked a similar question, but ya know...nobody really knows about the non-native speakers. haha.

It makes no sense at all for someone who speaks a language fluently to test in it. What are you testing exactly???

I got a 650 on the practice test. I hope to get higher on the actual test, but everyone says that if you don't get a perfect score, it's pointless, and universities don't look at it. But that is because the people who take it are Chinese, or speak it fluently!
