I am taking Organic 1 (horenstein) and Microeconomics (mark rush) in Summer A. Is it completely manageable? or is it better idea to take only Organic 1?</p>

<p>assuming you are not taking orgo lab that should not be bad but it will keep you busy. hopefully you are not having other commitments as well.</p>
<p>what is really bad is when people who take the entire orgo sequence and lab over Summer take classes on top of that… that is really bad. I have never taken orgo during the summer but if I did I would take it Summer C. BUT because it is only orgo 1 and because you will probably take orgo 2 summer B or in the fall it is not that bad. </p>
<p>Taking Orgo 2 summer B in any way is bad simply because it is so much material and you would not retain it… granted you wouldnt need it anyway for MCAT (except for aldol condensations and a few other orgo 2 things)… but still you rsummer b would be miserable.</p>

<p>Taking the 2 orgo classes and lab over summer isn’t bad. Very, very doable. However, your right…taking an additional class with those 3 classes will make your summer very difficult.</p>
<p>the intro to econ classes during the normal semesters are not at all time consuming. i presume its the same during summer classes, despite you being in class twice as much</p>
