Chnaces for UC Davis and Regent Scholarship

Hi all. I want to go to UC Davis for a biochemistry/ bio-related major.
Stats:
Took all possible Honors/AP courses (with 5's on all exams)
Total (since freshman year) GPA: 4.6 ish/4.0
Junior year GPA: 4.83/4.0
Harvard Book award
SAT's...haha blushes 1930 (will retake as many times as possible)
I have a whole post on this SAT matter, see my profile.
SAT II Biology: 800
Bombed math SAT II (too slow, can never finish those tests, I do not think the actual information is hard)

Major art extracurricular (I might even send a portfolio if possible). Took lessons for 8 years, brief internship at art studio, but mostly just draw on my own. Some work I have done: Teen Ink | Natka
Bare minimum volunteering at nursing home (school required but I went a tiny bit over)
Will try to start Red Cross club with friend this (senior) year... what an easy way to get leadership: self-declared president of self-organized club LOL!

So will I get into UC Davis? Will I get the Regent Scholarship?

ps: sorry typo on title...don't get your panties in a twist about that now :)

Yeah, I think you can get int and get the Regents Scholarship. Regents is based mostly on academics, so I don’t think that ECs would really have anything to do with it… You should aim for a 2000+ for the SATs though, but don’t overdo it. Try to get the score you want within three tries.

Regent Scholarships are usually for students with high SAT scores. Usually 2300+ range. Last year a parent posted her daughter received Regent scholarships from UCSD, UCLA and UCB with SAT around 2340+.

Ah, hopefully I will at least get in. Unfortunately, SAT’s test the one thing I don’t have: speed. That’s why my scores suck. I end up with at least 5 questions blank in each section! Based on my final scores, that means that the problems I did finish, I got right but obviosly got the blank ones wrong…not that the colleges would ever know that. I guess no regents scholarship for me :(
