I got waitlisted and I need full FA. So I doubt I’ll get in.

Oh well, here’s to hoping for all of us on the WL! It’s better than being rejected, no? Least we still have a chance.

^ Exactly. One of us was rejected. Horrid, horrid interview. Too bad, saw it coming, still gloating about the Exeter WL here.

Rejected (tenchar)

how people know about choate??

I got waitlisted

Lindha, Choate gives out their decisions online on GoChoate! :)

I got in to Choate in the Ichan Scholars Program!!! I’m going to be in the class of 2014!! I got rejected from Lville, and wait listed at Hotchkiss and Exeter, but it’s all good :D

That’s just fantastic! Congratulations!

i got in for 10th grade!!! definitely going!!

congrats! Wish us luck for our daughter who is wait listed…

i got waitlisted
i sent my interviewer and email asking about how the waitlists work and that im really interested in going and hope to get off the waitlist

does any one no if the choate WL are ranked?

No, wl are not ranked at Choate.

i got in, im probably going :)

Rejected :(

Congratulations to all those accepted! I can’t wait to see you on campus in the fall.
Waitlisters and those who were rejected, there is hope. Keep your chins up, and here is one of my favorite sayings:
“When God closes a door, he opens a window.”
Now, ignore the religious overtones and take the saying for what it is-
There are always options and opportunities.

I was accepted!! :D

@saer
yeah but you can walk through a door, you can’t walk through a window, you could fall out and die unless someone gave you a ladder, but I saw no ladder in the analogy so I am assuming you fall out and die

Choate 2013 baby

yeah but you can walk through a door, you can’t walk through a window, you could fall out and die unless someone gave you a ladder, but I saw no ladder in the analogy so I am assuming you fall out and die
2010 hopeful, you are either reaaaally pessimistic or really silly.
I’d like to think you’re silly!
But, in real life terms:
You kids were waitlisted. You have to find another way to attend a different school for the next few years. That’s going to be a whole different experience than you would get at Choate, or anywhere else. Appreciate THAT experience rather than worrying about not getting the one you really wanted. Whose to say which one is the right one?
