<p>Yeah, there will inevitably be social boundaries between freshmen and upperclassmen, because, frankly, you guys are freshmen. It’s a social thing that is present in all private schools, but that doesn’t mean that freshmen are ostracized. You’ll find upperclassmen friends as well as freshmen friends. And on that note, I will be living in the freshman dorm (Mem) as a junior next year, so looks like I am going to be living with you.</p>

<p>I thought juniors lived in Mem base typically, but now they are living on Mem 4th floor? Or is that just another way to call Mem base…</p>

<p>It’s Mem 4th. Literally the fourth floor. Due to over-enrollment, they need the extra space down there for the incoming freshman boys so they made the fourth floor be the junior dorm. It’s the smallest dorm on campus with only four people… and I’ll be seeing freshmen everyday.</p>

Guess we’ll be seeing eachother everyday. And what is dress code fro boys?? I heard that jeans arent allowed but i saw plenty of people with jeans on my revisit days… What should I bring?</p>
<p>jeans aren’t allowed. On revisit day i know step squad preformed and they have to wear jeans when they preform so they may just not have changed. For boys its just some form of a collared shirt (tucked in), no t-shirts, no hoodies, no hats in the building, etc.</p>

<p>@bronxkid Being a new sophomore, i have to say it was hard adjusting to the social networks here, and at any private school. Dont worry though, because you are coming in as a freshman, and you WILL, i assure you, make new friends as ALL the new freshman boys live in the same dorm. Be outgoing, and staying true to yourself at all times - that is the way to achieve true friendship. =)

<p>All the Choaties are probably as stressed as I am now with their Spring Exams xD I’m a horrible time manager… I have to learn a whole role now in an hr long play (role switch) annotate 200pages in dreams of my father, my English final project and my History Exit project all in the same week!</p>

<p>Isn’t Choate on the same level of academic rigor as A/E?</p>
<p>Though I’ve never studied at American Eagle Outfitters, I would say that Choate is just as academically rigorous as they are.</p>
