Choosing 2 years of a class

Hey guys, I'm wondering if this will whatsoever affect me in the admissions process. This year as a Junior I have only barely passed AP Chemistry, my schools' hardest class with a C both semesters. Will repeating AP Chemistry again my senior year,
1. result in less credits than I would have gotten by taking another science class
2. look bad on my transcript

The way I see it is that now that I have background knowledge on chemistry I can maybe improve my grade and maybe colleges will see it as my wanting to challenge myself?

I see no value in repeating AP Chemistry. You passed, move on. If you took the AP exam and score a 4 or 5, you can feel vindicated that you passed a very hard class.
