Choosing/Finding school help

Hi guys. I just completed my junior year and my parents and I are starting to get stressed for college. Now the school I go to is a rich private school, and one of those places that only recommends higher tier schools even when they cant be afforded, so I cant get any help from them.

I was wondering if you guys could comment maybe on the schools I'm looking at, maybe some more information about them if you know, and maybe recommend some other schools I could look at? Money is a real issue here and it retrains my choices. My breakdown is

about a ~92 unweighted GPA
1920 SATs (670 verbal, 600 math, 650 writing) I plan on taking them again in october and boosting my scores to a 2000+ hoping for a 2100
Taking as many APs as my school allows
SAT2s:
Biology:740
U.S History:680

E.Cs
model congress 2 years as a delegate, 1 year as an advisor and next year as a supervisor
2 years of debate team
Arabic Club (introduction to written and reading arabic)
1 year of volunteer work

Now the schools so far that I am looking at are
SUNY Geneseo (really interested in this one, anyone know more?)
James Madison University
U Maryland -----
U Mass lowell---- These 2 Im not so into, just needed more choices

I live in New York and Id like to stay in the Northeast. I am really not into SUNY Bing or SUNY albany.

So if anyone has any help, that would be great.
If you want to send me an email its Tiss229@gmail.com

Oh and I totally forgot to mention, I am intrested in the social sciences, and am debating whether to go into psychology or psychiatry

if you can't afford rich private schools, why the &^ do you go to a private high school. Doesn't make 2 much sense.

Not my choice, my moms call.

Tiss229 - Clark University in Mass. has a strong psychology program and with your stats, you would probably qualify for merit aid. Also, recommend UMass Amherst over Lowell.
