first off, i'm not smart, i don't take all honor and AP classes...thank you very much. ok...i'm a junior in high school, next week we are starting to choose classes for next year. here are my classes:

This year: Analysis honors, English 3, Strings, US history 2, Chemistry, Spanish 2
Next Year:AP calculus, English 4 honors, Strings, AP history, ?, ?

I need 2 more classes....and my choices are..biology 2, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and human physiology..although I doubt that my couselor would let me take AP bio...cuz I didn't take bio 2 yet, so she probably won't let me..anyways after high school, i'm planning on going to medical field, so I figured, i better take lots of science classes in high school..so what do u guys think I should take???should I take AP chem just becuz it's a AP class, or should I just go with bio and human phy. which are important for science field?and also, is dropping spanish a good idea??

ps. anyone who had taken biology 2 and human physiology....can u tell u what's the difference?? and is human physiology hard?

ps. if I self study biology 2, and take the AP test in may, would they let me do it?

Just because you're not at the top of your class doesn't mean you're not smart. :/

I recommend, for the medical feild, that you insist upon AP Bio and take human physiology on top of that. It just seems like the best medical combo for you. But you shouldn't take my word seriously; I've niether taken either of the courses nor do I want to go intot he medical feild.

If youd ecide tto take AP Chem, I can give you some advice: it's not that bad if you can focus in class and do your homeowkr (and understand it).

i think you should take AP chem and bio 2 and possibly self study AP bio (if not TRY and take AP bio)....however AP chem is one of the harder APs (from what i hear) so if you do decide to take it make sure you put a lot of effort in it

nothing wrong w/ AP chem if it has organic chemistry for medical field. my chem and physics teachers told me that organic chem is hardest for med school, and what knocks ppl out

If you want to go into the medical field--that is, if you plan on working with patients--then you will be very glad to have studied Spanish. My aunts both work in health care and they're always calling my mom--a Spanish teacher--for help communicating with Spanish-speaking patients.
Remember, medicine isn't just about science. It's about people, too. (Then again, I don't know whether you aspire to be a health-care provider or a research doctor. Foreign language probably isn't as important to a research doctor as it is to a doctor [or nurse or technician or...] who actually works with patients.)

P Bio and take human physiology
like said above
since you are interested in the med field these classes will interest you most and you will do the best in them

strings is like orchestra....violin, cello and bass.... it's not a required class. I just started taking it this year, and I like it a lot. my parents wanted me to drop strings and keep spanish....but strings is the only class i can to relax, and enjoy music, without strings class...i would probably go crazy....
