Okay, so course scheduling time is aroudn and I'm trying to take the most AP classes possible that may help me along my way to a potential medical career. In other words, I'm trying to pursue my interests and have as many AP Classes as possible. My school sucks because of its scheduling problems and many people are not able to take as many ap classes as they want. I have two choices for my schedule next year.

First Choice:

AP English 4
AP Biology
AP Chemistry
AP Physics
Hon. Calc
Study Hall
Gym

Second Choice:

AP English 4
AP Biology
AP Calculus
AP Psychology
Gym
Study Hall

This is basically the toughest courseload that I think my school is capable of giving me. Honors/AP courses are weighted and therefore help my GPA. However, I am struggling between AP Calc and two sciences. AP Calc is two periods. If I take Hon Calc, I can add Chem and Physics to my schedule. If I take AP Calc, i can only have AP Bio. I would of course love to take all three AP Sciences and take AP Calc, but I can't. Either it is Bio, AP Calc or... Hon Calc, Bio, and Chem. So should I sacrifice AP Calc for two extra science courses? I hope to pursue a medical career and that is the reason why I want to take 3 AP Sciences.

I'm Currently a Junior with the following schedule:

AP English 3
AP American History
Hon. Physics
Hon Trig/Analytic Geometry
Spanish 3
Psychology

In my previous post, I forgot to mention that I can take ap psych too with the second choice. If I want to be a doctor, is it better to take 3 ap sciences with a mere honors level math course ; or is it better to take 1 ap science, the highest math course available, and ap psychology.

Well, at least you don't go to my school. You'll be in for a nasty shock if you think THAT'S bad. We have the worst scheduling conflicts ever because the school is ran by idiots.

And FYI, don't think I'm happy to be able to "brag" about that. =[

And I think you should take AP Calc. and AP Bio. I think Biology is good if you're interesting in a medical career. [Correct me if I'm wrong...]
