Choosing to Send SAT or ACT Scores

Hi everyone, I am sending my application to some top schools in a few weeks and cannot decide which scores to send to them. I have listed them below. I am aware that they are not outstanding (I'm hoping that other areas of my app will get me in), but I don't know which ones would be best to submit. Please let me know what set or sets of scores you think I should submit to such schools. Thanks in advance for any advice!

SAT (superscore): 2130
CR: 630
Math: 730
Writing: 770

ACT (1): 30 composite
English: 32
Math: 34
Reading: 30
Science: 25

ACT (2): 31 composite
English: 33
Math: 32
Reading: 26
Science: 31

ACT (3): 31 composite
English: 36
Math: 34
Reading: 27
Science: 25

my son sent both. his scores were equal on both so he thought it would be good to send both to show them that he is consistent with his test taking.

See: [The ACT | Estimated Relationship between ACT Composite Score and SAT CR+M+W Score | ACT](http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/estimate.html#.UGy-m457GhE)

According to this ACT/SAT Concordance table, your 2130 is equivalent to a 32 ACT. So, you should submit just your SAT for 2 reasons: (1) It’s a higher score than your ACT, and (2) It’s cheaper to submit your SAT rather than both SAT and ACT.

Remember, test scores are only one part of the applications process. The most important part of your application package is your high school transcript. Next in importance are your teacher recommendations and guidance counselor report. Next would probably be your essays. After that would be your extracurriculars. Test scores are kind of near the bottom, in terms of importance.

Ok, thanks for both responses. I am mainly worried because my 630 reading score is not really considered good for a number of the schools to which I’m applying.
